The Polish director Andrzej Zulawski, author of unforgettable titles for the generation of the seventies, like “The important thing is love” (1975), starring Romy Schneider and Fabio Testi, also directed, “Possession” (1981) an unusual film where the pure terror passed through the sieve of a woman, played by Isabelle Adjani.
Poker great filmmakers who will visit this year Sitges is completed by the prolific director (and poet) Japanese Sion Sono, who is credited with titles like “Suicide Club” and other films own delusional universe. Sono also present in Sitges his last two films: “Tag, Love and Peace” and “The virgin psychics”.
The festival will continue with their avalanche of awards and awarded another “time machine” Rick Baker, one of the biggest names in the world of makeup and special effects, which has participated in such films as “King Kong,” “Men in black” or “Hellboy”, to name just three of their own. The zombies in “Thriller” were also responsible for Baker.
More awards of a festival as Sitges, endlessly rich in awards, in this 48th edition more so. The event, led by Ángel Sala pay tribute to the actress Rossana Yanni Argentina, at which the award will be presented Nosferatu.
