From September 25th to October 3th, 70 boats from a dozen European countries participate in the Nacra 17, a qualifying race for Rio 2016

The Union of Sports Federations of Catalonia (UFEC), Barcelona International Sailing Center (BISC) and International Class NACRA17 (INCA) organized the European Championship Absolute and Youth Nacra 17 2015 (for mixed crews) September 25 th to October 3th 2015. This championship is open to Olympic class mixed crew of two, Nacra 17.
The boat, which as a class Olympic debut in Rio in 2016, stands out for its speed and flexibility, offering both sailors and spectators a spectacular competition.
Since Nacra which was chosen as the Olympic class in 2012, is the first time that Barcelona, Olympic organizing this event.
This championship is very important for European countries, which is qualifying for the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
They expect about 70 boats from a dozen European countries and other continents as it is championship “open.”
