In the first edition of Big Data Congress in Barcelona, held on 3th and 4th November, will present trends in the industry and the state of the art technology in the city.

The event is organized by the Centre of Excellence in Big Data from Barcelona and is intended to become a benchmark in this sector in the city. During two days, besides explaining trends in the industry and the state of the art technology, the conference will share experiences and create a climate of networking among attendees.
In this sense, the Big Data Congress will be divided into two thematic sections to try to respond to the interests of all participants: demand and technology. The activities of the 3th November will focus on the first big block and present challenges in the sector. It also will present real case studies with the aim of showing the value of the data and everything that can be extracted to manage more effectively the needs of customers and citizens. On 4 technology will be the star of the day, with cases uses technological analytical data, massive data infrastructure and data visualization tools.
Emerging companies will also exhibit at the conference its business model based on the data. So for 2 days Barcelona will host this event, designed to raise awareness of this new sector, which increasingly has more followers and professionals working there. You can view the entire program here.
