The city will host from 10 to 13 December, the final of the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating
The competition, organized by the Spanish Federation of Ice Sports (FEDH) and the International Skating Union (ISU) stops back to Barcelona after the successful organization of the 2014 edition.
Javier Fernandez, the current world champion, is one of the stars of the competition.
So, the city is the first in history to repeat two years in a row as the host organizer of the end of the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating on ice, the competition brings together the top six skaters modalities individual male and female couples and dance of the season, both senior and junior categories.
Last year the competitions attended a total of 25,000 spectators. This year, as reported by Marta Carranza, expect there to be 30,000, which will show the ISU Grand Prix during the 4 days of competition.
