Dan Brown will present his novel ‘Origin’ in La Pedrera on October 17
Writer Dan Brown will be visiting Barcelona on October 17th for the launch of the novel ‘Origen’ (Planeta / Column), which will be published in Spanish and Catalan on 5 October. According to both stamps, the novel takes place largely in Barcelona, and the central event will take place in La Pedrera, one of the venues for which Robert Langdon, star of the best seller The Da Vinci Code, goes to discover a “Awe-inspiring revelation of the origin and destiny of mankind.”
In the novel, the professor of symbology and religious iconography goes to the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao to attend a transcendental announcement that will change the face of science forever.
“I have always considered Spain a land of beautiful paradoxes, a place with a rich tradition and history that, at the same time, continues to shape the future by innovating in science and technology,” said the author as an explanation of the chosen scenario to ‘Origin’.
