It repeats in the enclosure of the Farga with the double of extension and turned into a great Christmas fair, call ‘Kaliu Park’
Know all the details of the great ice rink of l’Hospitalet de Llobregat, which this year doubles extension and becomes a Christmas fair. Until 2014 he was in the Plaza Catalunya of the Catalan capital, under the name ‘Bargelona’.
Dimensions
The entire fairground of La Farga de l’Hospitalet will be dedicated to Kaliu Park: 8,500 square meters, twice as much as last year. You will be able to skate for a track of 1,650 square meters, with a space of 300 square meters reserved for children, who will have the advice of monitors.
The slide also grows
One of the biggest attractions of the event, released last year, was a great ice toboggan. In this 2016 edition, the attraction also grows: specifically, it will be 50 meters long and 20 meters wide, a larger space than the previous one. The organization hopes to “avoid queues” and gain spectacularity.
Multitude of activities
But the great novelty of Kaliu Park is that it is no longer an ice rink to become a Christmas fair, especially for the little ones of the house. It incorporates a magic tree that tells stories, a well of well wishes inside an enchanted forest, an inflatable climbing wall, ecological karts and a make up workshop, among other proposals.
In addition there will also be skating exhibitions and expects the visits of Santa Claus and the royal pages of the Magi.
Schedule and calendar
Kaliu Park opens its doors on December 2 and will close on January 8. On the first day of operation a discount will be established and the tickets will cost 3 euros for half an hour of skating or three descents down the slide.
On working days, the hours of operation will be from 11 in the morning to 9 at night. Fridays, Saturdays and holiday vigils will be extended until 22 hours.
Price
The rates of the ice rink will range from 5 to 12 euros, depending on the mode and time chosen. Rental of skates and helmet will be included.
Transport
Kaliu Park is well connected to standard public transport. You can get to La Farga with metro line 1, getting off at Rambla Just Oliveras. It is also very close to the Renfe de l’Hospitalet station and the FGC Carrilet avenue stop.
