The Arrey Hotels Group will open a four star hotel in Can Balcells this summer and draw up its own cellar in the old Cavas Signat
The Arrey Hotels Group, with a presence in Brazil and Spain, will open this summer a new four-star hotel with 37 rooms (Maresme). Arrey Alella Hotel has been built in the tower Can Balcells, former seat of Cavas Signat. The establishment preserve and enhance the connection of the municipality with the world of wine and cava, betting and offering wine tourism as an area of economic revitalization for the city and its surroundings. The hotel has an investment of 4.5 million euros and the creation of 15 new jobs, employed in the territory, with the collaboration of service occupation Alella City Council.

The Hotel Arrey Alella wanted to pay his own tribute to the wine heritage of the area: the architectural project has remained underground cellars stores, where private events and activities open to the public that serve to promote the wines of the region can be made. The rehabilitation and restoration have become the old manor house in the central enclosure, respecting the design of the original structure: in the past, Can Balcells was known by alellenses as “China House” by the shape of their roofs , reminiscent of oriental pagodas temples. Surrounded by gardens on the ground floor of the tower are the reception and Can Balcells restaurant offers a selection of typical products of Mediterranean cuisine. On the upper floors the bedrooms and suites are distributed: a total of 9 rooms, some with terrace. Besides the main building, the rehabilitation project has also included the construction of an annex building with other 18 rooms on two floors, all with views of the garden and the manor house. Around the restored tower extends garden, swimming pool and private parking for hotel guests. The terrace and garden, available for private celebrations or corporate events are also open to the public: a space outdoors, in a quiet environment where dinner or a drink with friends.
The Hotel Arrey Alella is the second establishment of Arrey Hotels Group in Spain.
