With a bra and garter belt with knit and whales, in 1905, started an exhibition showing the evolution of the French lingerie and corsetry over 140 pieces of the most iconic brands.
Exposure Lingerie Française, which can be seen at Casa Batllo in Barcelona until December 9th, and features pieces from the late nineteenth century, explains the evolution of intimate apparel, from ancient corsets and bras, to prototype lingerie that combine modern aesthetics with functionality. All the pieces on display are owned eleven French lingerie manufacturers (Aubade, Barbara, Chantelle, Empreinte, Implicite, Lise Charmel, Lou, Maison Lejaby, Passionata, Simone Princesse tam.tam and Pérèle) who have joined to show their most emblematic pieces, which have already been seen in Paris, London, Shanghai, Dubai, Berlin, New York, Toronto, Moscow and Tokyo.
