The three Vilars Rurals the Serhs group have become the first specialized families with babies hotels in Europe, with its facilities and prepared food to meet the needs of parents and their children under two years.
The objective of these hotels is that families with small children can travel without having to carry all the utensils, so rooms are prepared with special baths, cribs phones, Bibs and protector outlets, among others.
One year after the creation of the stamp baby friendly, the Vilar Rural de Sant Hilari Sacalm (Girona) has introduced two baby room, rooms are themed special baby, which is decorated as if it were the children’s room of the house and include products such as changing furniture, cot, deckchair, a kit with diapers, creams and bath toys, plus a refrigerator and microwave.
In the restaurant high chairs and elevators, plates and plastic cutlery and a choice between two varieties of baby food are offered daily, and reception families can order a bottle warmer and store or heat food and buy products for food and caring for babies.
Over the next 15 months it is planned to adapt new baby rooms, in the Vilar Rural de Sant Hilari as in the other two, located at Arnes (Tarragona) and Cardona (Barcelona). Serhs has decided to specialize in this type of public due to high demand, since in the past year, one in four families staying in the Vilars Rurals have done with a baby.
In addition to the facilities adapted, these hotels offer intended for children under two years, as baby massage, music, sensory, auditory, visual textures and games as well as film screenings activities.
