Lenovo opens in Barcelona its international sales center for SMEs
Lenovo, the Chinese manufacturer of computers and smartphones, yesterday officially inaugurated the new international business center for sales to medium-sized companies in Barcelona. The opening ceremony was attended by Eric Cador, president Lenovo EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) and the Minister d’Empresa i Ocupació of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Felip Puig.
With an area of thousand square meters, the new center of Lenovo located in an old building of the street Amigó, is now fully operational, and has 60 employees of various nationalities that cover 13,300 customers medium enterprises (considered as such those that count on staff with 250 to 1000 employees) from Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg. As regards the Spanish market, the creation of this new center will allow the company to establish business contacts with new customers 1,350 medium-sized enterprises of our country.
Lenovo plans to continue expanding the center and raise to 80 the number of hired workers the next three years. The new offices also host the sales team responsible for the other segments of the professional business and consumer Catalonia Lenovo.
