Graphology Forum in Barcelona
Graphology is the science of interpretation of Scripture to know the personality, intelligence and skills of individuals. It is a scientifically researched, increasingly used in various fields such as psychology, psychiatry, pedagogy, recruitment or career guidance. It is also used by the police, judges, banks, detectives, among others.
In order to make this discipline, this week-from Thursday 25 to Saturday 27- Barcelona is organized in the VI International Forum of graphology, psychology Face and Body Language. It is the first time that Barcelona hosts this forum, which has had the Americas as a stage in its five previous editions. The last one was held last year in Acapulco.
Professionals, doctors in psychology, criminology, morphopsychology, graphologists and experts in body language; teachers from different universities with extensive professional experience and some of them in transnational companies and organizations of Homeland Security will be responsible for giving talks and delivering the workshops in this forum.
Speakers highlighted Germán Belda, son of Maurice Xandro, considered the father of graphology in Spain. Belda taught several workshops and documentoscopy calligraphic skill and symbology of the firm, among others. Forum attendees will also enjoy the presence of Isabel Sanchez Bernuy, prestige graphopsychology and student of the great masters of graphology
The forum is aimed mainly at professionals of forensics, corporate security, psychology, law, history, human resources, education, archivists, graphologists, social sciences and the general public.
“Writing is the enchanted mirror where the mysterious face of the soul is reflected,” noted Matilde Ras, graphologist, direct teacher of French graphology and professor Mauricio Xandro.
No two people are alike, no two are alike letters and writing is an expression such as gait, gestures, verbal and non-verbal expression, showing the particularity of the individual. There is a close relationship between each of these expressions.
In Spain, graphology does not enjoy good press because it is associated with more esoteric fields. “The calligraphic expert is rather seen” explains Xantal Laplana, handwriting analyst and one of the promoters of the Barcelona Forum. But elsewhere in the world it is what is considered a science. “In Argentina pursuing a tough three-year diploma,” recalls Laplana. In Catalunya postgraduate and masters taught at the University of Barcelona (UB) and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).
