They offer nine treatments lasting between 15 and 90 minutes

India’s Heaven on Earth has invested 500,000 euros in the Barcelona-El Prat for the opening of three centers –two therapeutic massage in the T1 terminal and one on the terminal T2– which employ 35 people.

In a statement, the company reported that this opening starts an expansion plan in Spain where it plans to open 20 stores and invest two million euros over the next three years.

The first three centers Spa Express Heaven on Earth in Spain were inaugurated on 22 December at the Barcelona-El Prat Airport.

The opening of these establishments, which are based on the oriental reflexology, has led to the creation of 35 jobs.

The company director, Prabhu Sirinvasan, said that the objective of Heaven On Earth is “start a European expansion that began in Spain, to expand the philosophy of ‘slow life’, both prevalent in India, and believes in the welfare of the person through care. ”

Heaven On Earth, created in 2007, is an Indian company specializing in therapeutic massage and wellness techniques combining Chinese reflexology, Swedish massage and Indian head massage.

The multinational electronic commerce Amazon has chosen Barcelona to test its new logistics model, express delivery, which will deliver a purchase on the same day, within hours. The multinational has set a goal to improve the shopping experience, and for that one of the key factors is the delivery. Thus, the company has studied various locations in Barcelona and has finally reached an agreement to rent the former headquarters of the publisher Gustavo Gili 89 Rossello street of Barcelona, according to TV3. The building has ample storage space and is already under construction. The company declined to comment on the operation and simply explain that “this is an innovative project focused on the customer.”

Real estate sources explained that the US company has studied various, small and central, in addition to the large logistics center in El Prat wants to open locations. Its proximity to consumers will help reduce delivery times, and thus include in its catalog selling fresh produce. Barcelona hosts from Monday until Friday the Google launchpad program, the campus Express for entrepreneurs that 13 technology-based startups will benefit the Catalan capital.

After a stint in Tel Aviv, Paris, Berlin, London and Helsinki, the initiative came to Barcelona for the third time and will offer an intensive program of pre-acceleration these 13 startups in collaboration with Incubio, Barcelona Activa, Itnig and connector. Google Launchpad has one week and five sessions will be devoted to addressing the product strategy, user experience, marketing and the role of technology.
