Google celebrated in Barcelona a campus Express for entrepreneurs
Barcelona hosts from Monday until Friday the Google launchpad program, the campus Express for entrepreneurs that 13 technology-based startups will benefit the Catalan capital.
After a stint in Tel Aviv, Paris, Berlin, London and Helsinki, the initiative came to Barcelona for the third time and will offer an intensive program of pre-acceleration these 13 startups in collaboration with Incubio, Barcelona Activa, Itnig and connector. The objective of this project, which will be held in Almogàvers Business Factory, is to complement the knowledge of business, expand their networks and advise on the development phases, and mentors will Marc Borràs (Idealist), Silvia Pérez (Scytl) and Jaume Clotet (KPMG).
The 13 participating companies are CreatorStats, Haptter, TimTul, Market in Cloud, Teamhood, myABCKit, IBPindex, Popsail, Doctor eBooking, Woonest, GymByHours, Aloha24 and Adwoow, operating in areas such as sports, health and education.
Google Launchpad has one week and five sessions will be devoted to addressing the product strategy, user experience, marketing and the role of technology. Training in all these areas will be provided by 50 mentors from successful technology companies, consolidated other business segments and entities in orbit startup firms, and up to 250 meetings held ‘one to one’.
He completed the program Google Launchpad a visit to the National Supercomputing Center, attached to the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and features the MareNostrum supercomputer, which uses its 10,240 processors in advance knowledge of subjects such as astronomy, biomedicine and genome sequencing.
