Drones at Smart city Expo world Barcelona
Companies and research centers members Drone Smart Catalonia -the embryo of what aims to become the Catalan industry cluster solutions ‘smart’ with drones- participate in the fifth edition of Smart City Expo Wolrd Congress (SCEWC), the Smart Cities International Fair to be held between 17 and 19 November in the Gran Via de Fira de Barcelona.
As reported by the Government in a statement, this is the public presentation of this working group formed by companies, research institutes, universities and other actors in this sector proponents, who was born a few months ago under the aegis of the Government smartcat strategy.
In the exhibition space, three companies and members -Hemav, CATUAV, Mdrone and Eurecat- group and two projects -ranger Faed Drone- Drone and showcase their products and services technology center.
Smart Catalonia Drone group will also participate in an outside flight and organize various activities that aim to raise awareness of the services and solutions ‘smart’ drone applied to various fields of intelligent cities.
Some of the sectors where this technology can be applied are emergency management, control urban development, landscape management, analysis of pollution, maintenance of facilities and promoting tourism.
