A barcelonian 27 years old, enters the list of young talents ‘Forbes’

The Barcelonian entrepreneur Pablo Pantaleoni already appears in the final list that Forbes magazine has just published with 600 young talents under 30 who “are called to change the rules in the world”. Pantaleoni, 27, founded by the Catalan Jacob Suñol also a health platform, Medtep, which allows doctors to monitor their patients via mobile phones and computers, allowing higher quality of health. “I’m very happy,” says the young entrepreneur with hot news. “I want to share the credit with Jacob (Suñol). This is the fifth edition in which Forbes selects men and women under 30 who are “changing the rules” and that have impacted the world for its boldness, creativity and brilliance. “Until recently, being young was an obstacle to career success. The process for drawing up the list is intense. Forbes evaluates more than 15,000 candidates in 20 different categories and ultimately selected 600 young and bright. Some names that share the Catalan businessman panel this year are: Stephen Curry, NBA player; John Boyega, the latest Star Wars movie, or the model Ashley Graham.
The young man studied at the Swiss School, she studied Economics at UPF and worked for the GVC financial group in Switzerland, where he met Suñol, with whom he founded in 2011 Medtep. “There is nothing more rewarding than entrepreneurial initiative” says, “because you work for yourself but also for society, to get people to live more healthily,” the youngest finalist, who notes that appear on this list will give visibility to rare and chronic diseases because many patients have improved their health with a more precise treatment based on information obtained by the platform. Medtep, which has 120,000 members, provides information to physicians about the lifestyle of their patients and the level of follow-up treatment. It also offers a personalized patient care by promoting the necessary changes to improve their health and quality of life. The company serves also to insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies.
Medtep is under the umbrella of the most important global health accelerator, StartUp Health and has closed a round of funding of two million. Precisely the founder of this accelerator, Unity Stoakes was who introduced Forbes Pantaleoni’s candidacy in the belief that it has a promising future.
