Premieres Wednesday at the Tivoli Theatre in Barcelona one of the most successful music industry, with a spectacular staging and assembly have already landed in the Catalan capital. Premiered at the Lyric Theatre in Sydney in 2006, PRISCILLA Queen of the Desert, The Musical, already represented with great success on Broadway, London, Brazil, Argentina, Canada, South Korea, the Philippines, Greece, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, new Zealand, Singapore, Sweden, in addition to their extensive tours of USA and England, was confirmed as the most spectacular new musical of the international billboard.
The play is about the adventures of three drag artists who cross the Australian desert aboard the bus that names the musical, in a happy journey, extraordinarily rewarding and fun, starring a cast of 20 other actors and actresses. With the extraordinary original staging with which premiered in London, PRISCILLA is represented throughout 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons in the Nuevo Teatro Alcala de Madrid, with over 400,000 spectators in 511 functions, being recognized by Broadway World Spain Awards and Musical Theatre Awards as Best Musical in Madrid in 2014/15 (Cabaret it was in 2015/16).
