The US company will be present in Barcelona for two months with the S and X models

The Tesla electric vehicle company has opened its first temporary store in Spain in Barcelona. From Friday you can visit the local, located in Port Vell, where visitors can test the Model S of the brand, with autonomy for 632 kilometers, and Model X, which can travel 565 kilometers without needing to recharge.
Tesla, which has been selling its cars in Spain since last December, plans to open two permanent stores from the second half of the year, one in Barcelona and one in Madrid. These concessionaires will move the commercial teams that now operate in the two cities and that are in charge of managing the orders that arrive at Tesla’s website from the Spanish territory.
Meanwhile, the pop-up store will be open for almost two months, from this Friday to July 12, from Monday to Sunday. To book a test drive, interested customers must register in advance on a website.
The US company has 14 recharge points nationwide and expects to end the year with 24. The brand, which focuses on the connectivity of cars, offers the largest screen in the market, with 17 inches, and software that is updates with or a mobile application.
Models are not within everyone’s reach
In addition, its doors open upwards, although, in case of parking near another vehicle, they can change the trajectory so as not to give it a blow. However, the price of the vehicles is not for all the pockets: goes from 80,000 euros for the S to 95,000 for the X.
The Californian brand has also chosen Barcelona to install the headquarters of its subsidiary in Spain, Tesla Spain, which will be dedicated to the import, distribution and sale of electric vehicles and energy storage systems, as well as parts, accessories and other products related to the sector.
