The world of video games will have a new capital for four days: Barcelona Games World. The new event in the game industry organized by the Spanish Association of Video Games (AEVI) and Fira de Barcelona will be held from 6 to 9 October at the fairgrounds of Montjuïc and will bring together leading companies in the sector to show the latest fans even before its release. In addition, the event will host a space for professionals to become a platform of boosting domestic industry.
The main fair game industry in Spain has the presence of brands such as Activision, Badland Games, Bandai Namco Entertainment, Electronic Arts, GAME, Koch Media, Microsoft Xbox, Nintendo, Sony Interactive Entertainment Spain, 2K, wargaming and Warner who will present their latest developments before the commercial launch so that visitors can enjoy the games before its release in more than 1,000 terminals available.

Harada, Tabata and Martinet in Barcelona
The lounge will also feature the presence of three internationally renowned personalities in the world of video games: Katsuhiro Harada, Hajime Tabata and Charles Martinet. Harada is responsible for the Tekken saga of video games, one major struggle for more than 20 years. Hajime Tabata, director of Final Fantasy XV will hold a conference on the development of this game on the main stage of the fair, on Thursday, October 6 at 17 am, open to the public. Games Pro
BGW has designed a program for professionals, called Games Pro, which aims to boost the development and internationalization of the Spanish gaming industry. First a series of conferences that address issues such as the financing of indies (independent developers), the mobile as a platform for gaming, the role of virtual reality video games, monetization or the ratio of new video games and health will be held . Among the featured speakers include Jason della Rocca, currently responsible for Execution Labs and myth of the gaming industry, and companies like Ubisoft, Social Point or Geomotions Games.
