Ramon Roqueta Roqueta distinction
The Monvínic Award for Personal Achievement in the wine world has been to Ramon Roqueta Roqueta. This Spaniard nonagenarian, faithful follower of the path forged by his ancestors, took over the family business in 1963. Its maximum were to strengthen and expand the family brand with a distribution network throughout Spain. In the words of Roqueta. “Selling wines of the farmers and Rajadell Fals (his native Bages) as far away as San Sebastián” It was another time, but those mud and sewage sludge by people like Roqueta and all those who have come after the Catalan wine world beyond the seas opened. First so that it could enjoy throughout the territory. Now it is drunk all over the world.
