The main event on industrial IoT will feature the top 10 real applications testbeds
The Internet of Things Solutions World Congress (IOTSWC) will hold its next edition in the Gran Via de Fira de Barcelona in October 2016. Organized by Fira de Barcelona in association with the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC), the exhibition and conference is objective overcome their previous records by connecting technology and industry and creating the best possible for companies and experts together to address strategies and development projects of industrial internet platform.
In the next edition, Congress structured conferences in six areas: Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics, Healthcare, Energy and Utilities, Technology, and Innovation. The IOTSWC Program Committee – made up of senior professionals in the world of IoT and technologically innovation specialists selected international figures in these fields as featured speakers at the conference program. In addition the lounge has launched a Call for Papers in order to include in the same program those contributions, solutions and most relevant initiatives in the field of IoT.
The event has also launched two calls: A Call for Testbeds and Call for Awards. The first of these calls will select the best banks in real tests with solutions applied industrial internet and will present at the conference on a specific space located in the heart of the exhibition area. Specifically, the top ten testbeds will have a prominent role in the exhibition. The last of the three calls reward the best solutions presented by the exhibitors in each of the program areas and also the best testbed.
In all three calls, the Program Committee will be responsible for analyzing all nominations and select the best. The Committee this year includes senior management representatives from companies such as ABB, Accenture, Cisco, Deloitte, EMC, GE, Industrial Internet Consortium, Infineon Technologies; Intel, Ipso, Microsoft, National Instruments, Object Management Group, SAP and Schneider Electric.

In its first edition, IOTSWC featured lectures by 120 experts, 88 exhibitors and 4,500 visitors from 53 countries and for their next appointment I expected to exceed these figures and consolidate its leadership in the global picture IOTSWC industrial IoT.
